Game On Quest

The games

Two ways to play, nine worlds and a pile of surprise mini-games. Every rule is enforced by the game itself, so every single point is earned.

No phones. No problem.

Projector Mode

Just you and a projector. Teams answer on paper or A/B/C/D cards, you tap their answers, and the whole room watches their world react on the big screen. Perfect for schools that ban phones, for younger kids and for any day the Wi-Fi gives up.

Classic

A big-screen quiz show: answer chart, drumroll and a podium worth cheering for.

One question on the big screen, the timer ticking, and every team holding up its letter at the same time. You tap the answers, the drumroll plays and the chart reveals who got it right. Streaks pay a bonus, and the scoreboard keeps every team on the edge of their seats until the podium.

Free plan

Robot Chase

Teams sprint for the finish line with a robot on their heels. Every wrong answer lets it get closer.

Each team has a runner on the track and a robot right behind. A right answer is 3 metres forward; a wrong one lets the robot close in. Get caught and it's ZAP: one battery gone. The first team across the finish line wins.

Free plan

Monkey Tower

Right answers stack blocks, wrong answers shake the tower. The tallest tower wins.

Every team builds its own tower with a monkey on top. Right answers add blocks, wrong ones knock the top block off, and every fifth question is a Storm round where everything counts double. The tallest tower takes the crown.

Boss Battle

The whole class against one giant boss. Every right answer is a hit; too many mistakes and it strikes back.

No rivals, just one enemy: the whole class against a giant. Every right answer drains its health bar live on screen, and too many wrong answers bring a counterattack. The perfect way to close a unit, or a Quest.

Pro plan and up
Every student in the game.

Live Mode

Students join with the QR code or the PIN on any phone or Chromebook. Every answer, every move and every mini-game comes from their own hands, while the projector shows the action live. Nothing to install, no student accounts.

Classic

The fastest right answers score the most. Streaks, a live leaderboard and a podium at the end.

Students answer on their phones, and the fastest right answers score up to 1,000 points plus streak bonuses. The leaderboard reshuffles after every question, and the final podium comes with a drumroll.

Free plan

Robot Chase

The robot shouts a number and everyone races to the pads. Wrong count? ZAP!

After every question the robot shouts a number. Students pick a pad on their phone and their runner dashes off. Only pads with exactly that many players are safe; everyone else gets zapped. Students who answered right choose first.

Boss Battle

Right answers unlock 10 seconds of attacks on the phone. Hit the glowing weak spots for massive damage.

Everyone teams up against the boss. Students who answer right get 10 seconds to attack on their phones, and the glowing weak spots hit harder. The health bar falls live for the whole class to see.

Pro plan and up

Tower Stack

Drop blocks from the claw, complete every level and build the tallest tower on screen.

Right answers drop blocks from the team's claw into the column chosen on the phone. Complete a level and it locks in your team's colour. Stack too high on one side and the tower wobbles, so strategy matters as much as speed.

Plus plan and up

Treasure Dig

Every right answer is one dig. Gold, gems, chests… and crabs that steal your points.

A whole island hides coins, gems, chests and crabs. Every right answer is one dig, chosen on the phone, and the sand flies on the projector. Chests are worth a fortune; crabs steal points.

Plus plan and up

Monkey Catapult

Set the angle, set the power, launch the monkey. Real physics, real bullseyes.

Real physics: every right answer is one launch, with angle and power set on the phone. The bullseye scores big, and the banana crate pays a bonus to the first team that hits it.

Plus plan and up

Territory

Plant your team's flag hex by hex and steal land from your rivals.

A hex map in the middle of the ocean. Every right answer plants your team's flag on a neighbouring hex, empty or held by a rival. Treasure hexes reward whoever gets there first.

Pro plan and up

Battleship

Right answers become cannon shots at the rival teams' hidden fleets.

Every team hides a secret fleet, new each round. Right answers earn shots, aimed at rival seas from the phone. Explosions and splashes appear live for the whole class.

Surprise mini-games

Every few questions the game hits pause and throws a mini-game at the room: balloons, rockets, tug of war, true-or-false showdowns. They are built from the words in your own game, so the fun never stops being the lesson.

Balloon Pop
On the phones

Balloon Pop

Pop the balloons that float up the screen. A normal balloon is 1 point, a gold one 5, and a bomb takes 3 away.

Penalty Shootout
On the phones

Penalty Shootout

Every kick starts with a question. Right and fast: the keeper cannot reach the ball!

The Floor Is Lava
On the phones

The Floor Is Lava

Read the sentence and jump onto the word that completes it. The wrong platform sinks into the lava!

Memory Chest
On the phones

Memory Chest

Open the chests and find the pairs: the English word and its translation. In English-only games, the pair is a meaning, a synonym, an opposite or a picture.

Word Catch
On the phones

Word Catch

Words fall from the sky: move the pot of gold and catch only the ones that match the clue. Three in a row give a bonus.

Rocket Pump
On the phones

Rocket Pump

Pump as fast as you can to fill the tank. Every rocket that launches is 10 points.

Whack-a-Robot
On the phones

Whack-a-Robot

Hit the robots popping out of the holes, and watch out for the kittens: they take points away.

Tug of War
On the phones

Tug of War

Team against team: every tap on the button pulls the rope to your side.

Word Scramble
On the phones On the projector

Word Scramble

Tap the letters in the right order to spell the English word. The clue is in Portuguese or, in English-only games, in English or a picture.

True or False Rush
On the phones On the projector

True or False Rush

Sentences come one after another: true or false? Right answers in a row raise the bonus.

Spin the Wheel
On the projector

Spin the Wheel

Each team spins the prize wheel on the big screen. Last place spins first.

Mystery Box
On the projector

Mystery Box

Each team picks a mystery box: bonus or trap?

Bomb Pass
On the projector

Bomb Pass

True or false? A right answer passes the bomb on. When it explodes, the team holding it loses.

New · Teens & Adults

Games built for older students

Epic art, spells drawn on the screen and a lot of rivalry. No cute animals here: teenagers and adults play as mages in rival houses.

Spell Cast
Magic at your fingertips

Spell Cast

Every right answer unlocks spells, and the student casts each one by tracing a magic rune with a finger on the phone. The closer the trace, the stronger the spell: lightning bolts, shields and curses fly across the arena while the houses fight for the crown.

In the Max plan Live Mode and Projector Mode Other plans: try it with 5 questions

Trace to cast

A right answer unlocks 5 spells. The student traces the rune with a finger, in one stroke, and the game measures how precise the trace is.

Fair to the last stroke

The server picks each student's rune and checks the trace. Nobody can choose an easy rune or fake a spell.

34 magic runes

Lightning bolts, hearts, castles, pentagrams, galaxies and arcane knots, traced in one stroke. Every student gets them all in a new order, with no repeats until all 34 are done.

Storms and chaos

Double Power, Rune Storm, Wild Magic and First Strike rounds change the rules mid-game. Shields and curses turn friends into rivals.

32 mages and 6 houses

Every student picks a mage, and every team becomes a house with its own crest.

5 magic mini-games

Potion Lab, Rune Lock, Echo Duel, Dragon's Riddle and Spell Book Catch. They are played only in Spell Cast.

With or without phones

Live Mode: every student traces on their own phone. Projector Mode: the houses take turns at the teacher's computer, tracing with the mouse.

Your way

It works with any game, yours or ready-made. In Games → Spell Cast, change the riddles, potions, sentences and words of the mini-games, or use our examples.

It works on any phone, with no microphone. Echo Duel uses the English voice of the teacher's computer: Chrome and Edge work best.

The magic mini-games

Every few questions, the arena turns into a magic challenge. Five mini-games, made only for Spell Cast.

Potion Lab
On the phones

Potion Lab

The recipe asks for one kind of ingredient: tap the one that fits before the cauldron boils over. Fast answers score more.

Rune Lock
On the phones

Rune Lock

The magic door is locked with scrambled runes. Put the words in the right order to build the sentence and open it.

Echo Duel
On the phones

Echo Duel

The big screen reads a sentence twice, and the student picks the version they heard on the phone: only one word changes (is or was, he or she, in or on). It trains the ear for the details.

Dragon's Riddle
On the phones

Dragon's Riddle

The dragon asks riddles in English. Every right answer hurts it: can the class defeat it before the time runs out?

Spell Book Catch
On the phones

Spell Book Catch

Words fall from the library ceiling: move the golden book and catch only the ones that match the clue.
